How to engage the public with quantum physics ?
Welcome to the Physic Circus, a small circus which displays one of the most amazing quantum effects : the superconductivity.
Physic Circus presents a few circus performances for each superconducting property : levitation, temperature effect, vortex pinning, position memory...
In between a muppet show and a physics demonstration, Physic Circus can be used by science explainers and museums, researchers, or teachers to engage the public with quantum physics.
This project is the result of a collaboration between physicists and designers in order to change the way we present physics and make it both fun and closer to recent research topics.
